Hello everybody! It’s hard to believe, but in a few more days we will be entering the first of the final three months of the year. That’s crazy isn’t it? It seems that time just keeps moving faster and faster, but it could also mean that maybe I am just getting old. Or it’s just me, I will let you be the judge of that. Anyways, with this month almost over it’s time for another Bloggers in the Spotlight segment. If you are new to my blog and not yet know what this is all about, let me explain for you shortly. In Bloggers in the Spotlight I put some bloggers erm in the spotlight and give you a chance to discover new blogs that you might not have yet heard of. As I have a multi-topic blog I always try to feature bloggers in different categories. So without furter ado, let’s get to these shall we!
Scott- Mechanical Anime Reviews
One of my favorite genres in anime is the Mecha genre. Which you probably wouldn’t realise as I have hardly done any reviews on those. If you want to find out more about this terrific genre in the world of anime though, I can not think of a better place then Scott’s wonderful blog. I haven’t even been following Scott for very long, only a few months now, but I have pretty much kicked myself for not having followed it sooner. You see not only is Scott a very friendly guy to talk to, but his posts are always wonderful to read. Featuring reviews, weekly overviews on space/mech shows he is currently watching this is just one of those blogs that you really want to check out if you are a fan of all things mech/space related. He delivers some very high quality content, so seriously what are you waiting for: go on over there and hit that follow button!
Now really what can I say about this blog and the woman behind it that doesn’t sell it short. The Biblionyan is a blog that features reviews and previews for books, movies, anime even Korean dramas. So in that way, she pretty much has the same content I have with one very noteworthy exception and those are her selfcare posts. Every week she writes an extensive and very well written post about selfcare. Not only are they extremely helpful they are often very brave and I have nothing but respect for the way she manages to write these. But one would almost forget how incredible she is herself. She is an extremely supportive blogger who always has a friendly word for everyone and is very active on twitter where she always promotes other people’s work. So this time it’s only right to put her in the spotlight for a change. Well, pretty much a no brainer huh? Hit that link and follow, you know you want to!
Lily’s Blissful Pages
Reading is one of the things that I love to do, but I always find myself falling behind with books. The even worse part is that I follow a lot of bookbloggers that seem to insist on adding more books to my to read list lol. Lily is one of those book bloggers, and one that is also hard at work on becoming an aspiring writer. In my book (see what I did there) she is already there as her book reviews are just becoming better and better all the time. She reviews a wide range of different kinds of novels, not just in one kind of genre, so there is probably something there for everyone. Another thing I like is the read-a-longs she partipates in where she and other bloggers just read books for 24 hours. (And try to stay awake in the process). Lily is a very kind person to talk to, who always responds to comments and in short this is just one of the many reasons why you should follow her. So, I’ll wait for you to press on that link in case you haven’t already.
Late to the Game Blog
Another blogger that covers a wide and incredibly varied range of topics, this is just one of those blogs that pretty much has it all. Especially if you love Star Trek and movies. Late to the Game currently features episode reviews for the terrific Star Trek series the next generation, but there are also movie reviews for all kinds of different films and even music is covered by him. Another feature I love about this blog is the daily “Things I’m Grateful For” post, which is in short three bullet points for a particular day that this blogger was thankful for. I think that’s very unique indeed. I have been following this one for quite a while now, and it’s always a delight to talk to him about a particular topic on one of his posts. Well, I pretty much know I have your interest now, so this blog is only one click away and you are there too!
The Things I have seen Blog
The last blog to be featured this month, is certainly not the least. The things I have seen blog is harder to describe, not because it isn’t totally awesome, but because it really covers so many different things. Anime and movies are definitely featured on this blog, with some very interesting and well written posts on them. But the one thing I think that sets this blog apart from others is the art. Because pretty much every post has pictures to liven it up that were designed by the host of this blog. And it always looks amazing. The fun thing is that there are also posts that let’s us see how some of that art was created and those are always very cool. But let’s not forget that we also have a host here who is always very humble, and very fun to talk to in the comments sections. We have had some great talks about the different posts on both our blogs and those have always been a delight. So in other words, no more talking about it, hit the link and follow it already. You will not regret this for a second!
This is the end….
No worries, I can see all of you frowning already. I just meant the end of this post, not the end of my blog or anything even more worrysome! I hope you all enjoyed this month’s installment and hopefully will press the links to follow all of these if you aren’t already because they really deserve it each and every one of them. Anyways, ofcourse Bloggers in the Spotlight will return to you next month. And no, again I am not going to tell you who will be featured then. As the great Forrest Gump used to say: life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get! See you on the next post 😊
