When I published the second part of my Countdown to Halloween series yesterday I got this message from WordPress saying I was on a 20 day streak. Over the past three weeks, during my vacation I have published a post every day. I can only say that I have truly been enjoying it. The most important reason for that, is you: the readers! Everyone that has read my posts, left a like or a comment, or became a new follower, I want to thank you all. Without you, blogging would not be as much fun as it is, and I really do hope you know that I truly appreciate you all. But, as the title of this post already implies, all good things come to an end. Tomorrow I’m back to work, which means I will have a lot less time on my hands. Something I have avoided talking about is my health, which is currently really, really bad. Combined with work it usually means that at the end of the day, I do need to take some rest or risk it becoming even worse. So does this mean that you won’t see me anymore? There is a very short answer to that: No! As I said, I have really been enjoying myself the past three weeks with blogging, and in a good and positive way it also distracts me from the stomache pain and being nauseous. What it does mean is that I won’t be posting every day anymore. I simply don’t have the energy and time for it, as much as I regret that.

Upcoming events

I’m getting all fired up for these events!

So what can you expect from me and my blog? I hope to get at least two or three posts out each week. I will try to do this on a bit of a regular basis, starting tomorrow. Mondays will usually mean a review of some kind either for movies, anime, books or boardgames. You know all the usual stuff that I write about. On one of the other weekdays it will either be another review, or one of my features such as Raist (Re-)Visits , VS , The Worst/Best Anime you (might) not have seen yet, well you get the idea. And then on saturdays, at least for the time being, I will continue my Countdown to Halloween . And after that? Well I’m sure I will think of something. Why not take a look at some of the things that you can look forward to in the next few weeks?

Supersecret project

Riddle me this, Riddle me that.

Yes, as the title implies I’m working on a supersecret project, but I’m not working on it alone. It’s been quite a while since I have done a collab project and this is just that: a collaboration with a fellow blogger and good friend. As I’m risking getting shot, tortured or all kind of other nasty stuff happening to me, if I tell you who it is I’m working with, and what it will be about, I’m keeping my mouth shut. All I can say is that it will be out very soon, if all goes well tomorrow in fact, and we are both very excited for it!

Anime

Duh….ofcourse there will be anime!

It’s of course a no brainer that my blog will continue to have anime content, although there is a more unusual show that will soon be featured here. Well, at least for me that is, as it’s a sportsanime. You all know how much I hate sports, so to have it featured here is well quite unique. But then again so is the show Tsurune, which I’m currently right in the middle of. Because of Scott’s  weekly enthusiasm for it, I’m also going to review Dorohedoro. And yes this was at the same time a small push to go and follow his blog if you aren’t already because it’s totally great!

Korean Dramas

Yes, these posters look very dramatic, but well, that’s because these shows are erm dramas.

My love for Korean dramas also hasn’t diminished, and with the two shows that I’m currently watching it has only grown. Because OMG are these shows good. For a first impression of these you can read this post. Both Flower of Evil and Train are up for review some time soon.

Movies

Jeezz…what a suprise, there are going to be movie reviews too?

Well, of course it’s not a huge surprise that there will also be some movie reviews on my blog, as obviously I love movies. Next to the horrormovies that will be featured in my Countdown to Halloween posts, you can expect some other films too. With Nolan’s Tennet now in  theatres, I thought it would be nice to revisit one of his other films, and certainly one of my own favorites Interstellar. The Old Guard is a Netflix film that was released a couple of months back and which I haven’t gotten around too yet. And then there is Dredd, the highly underrated second movie based on the comicbook Judge Dredd. You can be sure though that besides these three films, there will be others as well.

Other stuff

Other stuff? What other stuff?

As this post is already becoming quite long, I thought I would wrap it up with a sample of some other things to look forward to. Sometimes you come across a book that is truly special and unique. The Electric State is that book. I’m not going to get into this one yet, but just know that it’s something truly remarkable. I didn’t have time to write a post on the Time Stories boardgame this vacation, but I will do so in the near future (pun intended), as we all sometimes need a little time travelling in our lives right? Or maybe that’s just me. You all know how much I loved the Blade Runner 2049 movie. And you know what happens when I love something, I want more of it. I recently acquired two books that deal with the making of this film, both of which I will review in the same post. You want more? Erm okay, how about some reviews for a Black Widow omnibus and the manga Orange? I think I will leave it at that for now. I hope these things are enough to get you all excited, and trust me besides everything that was mentioned here, there’s some other things too. Thanks once again for all your continued support, this is Raistlin signing off, and saying goodbye…..for now!
