Hi everyone! This is just going to be a very short post to let you all know that I’m once again experiencing some problems on WordPress. Not only are some comments disappearing on posts from other blogs (which means they are being sent straight to your spamfilters), also answers to comments that are already there are disappearing straight into thin air as well. And to top things off, apparently people are also not getting notices when I’m answering comments that are left on my own blog. It’s just one of those typical days where WordPress seems to once again think it’s funny to leave bloggers a little bit frustrated. I know I am not the only one today, as over on Twitter I saw people were also experiencing some of these problems. So just in case you are wondering why I am not answering your comments, nor leaving my own comments on some of your posts, now you know! Usually this only lasts one day, and then it’s back to business as usual, but ugh having had this problem quite a few times in the past now, I feel a little bit like this gif below. Haha..thanks Pete 😊 Although this morning I did reply to your answer on my own post and it seems no prompt was sent😅 Usually this stuff lasts for a day, so I am hoping that it’s over tomorrow again. So annoying…ugh 😢

So far, no problems with your comments etc. Michel. I hope this gets resolved quickly. As I’m still having to refollow several blogs whenever I res-sign in to WP, I feel your frustration.🤬

Yeah…it’s seriously annoying. Especially since I have had this problem so many times now and each time I think it’s resolved it get’s back on. Usually this lasts one day and then it’s over…so hopefully that tomorrow it’s back to normal. Your problem sounds even more annoying though…ugh. I hope it get’s fixed for you soon 😔

Thank you for the heads up. I fished out your comment from my latest review, which ended up in the spam. No idea why WordPress would do that to someone who is a follower. It happens to me sometimes too. So frustrating.

You are welcome! Yeah it’s definitely frustrating. I hate it when this happens. I comment a lot on posts, so days like these are very annoying. Usually it gets solved the next day again, so hopefully that will be the case 😊

Not having an issue with comments at the moment (fingers crossed) but was having some behind the scenes glitches on my blog that I got to spend some time chatting with their help about. Seems like things are resolved for now.
However, this one is a good reminder for bloggers to check their spam filters as legitimate bloggers frequently encounter this for a short period of time and their comments get captured.

Yeah I remember that you have had even worse problems a while back, so I’m glad they got resolved for you. It’s not the first time this has happened to me as you know, and I doubt it will be the last, but it’s very annoying to say the least.
I regularly check my spam filters to see if there is anything in it, and found two comments this morning flagged as spam. I just hope that WordPress will eventually get this bug fixed, because it’s really frustrating at times 😔

On the other hand, I like that it does clear the worst of the spam from the blog. Given some of the messages that have ended up in my spam filter I’m very glad they never got published.

It seems to be solved again. It’s an issue that pops up every once in a while for some reason, and then solves it self after a day. Thanks for catching up and all the kind words: I appreciate it a lot! 😊😊

Hi my friend. Sorry for replying so late. It’s not been going well, which is the reason why I haven’t been on wordpress for a long while. It’s been a really rough year for me, both mentally and physically. I’m trying to see which comments I have missed and replying to them. I will try to do some kind of update as well before Christmas just to let everyone know I’m still alive so to speak. As for my blog…will try to do something with it again…but probably won’t be as active next year. We’ll see how it goes.
