Retro Raist: Competition!

Hi everyone! To celebrate the release of the first post of Retro Raist (what do you mean you missed out on that? Go on, check it out right here !), I’m returning with a new competition where you will have the chance to win a great price! The game featured in the first post, Ani-Mayhem,  is now completely out of print, and you can pretty much only find copies of it on Ebay. Not only that it’s also very costly as some of the offers made there are insanely expensive. But fear not as now you get the chance to own a piece of nostalgia for free by entering this competition! The winner will recieve a sealed starter deck, and two booster packs. Now let me make it clear again: you can’t buy this game in retail anymore and you will be hardpressed to find sealed copies of the game. So why give it away then? Well back in the late 90’s I was lucky enough to find a whole boxed set of sealed starter decks and boosters of Ani-Mayhem, and there are still quite a number of them that I haven’t yet opened. As I already have a lot of duplicate cards, I just thought it would be cool to give one of you the chance to experience this game for yourself.

Speaking of which, I thought it would also be nice to have a second price as well. So what will this second price be? Well, a lucky runner up will receive some of my duplicate cards, along with a copy of the rulebook. In total this will come down to ??? cards. Yes, those question marks are there on purpose as I’m still opening some sealed packs. But I guarantee it will at least be more than 60 cards. These cards are in mint condition so it’s still a great price to have. So, what incredible feat must you accomplish to have a chance at winning any of these prices? Do you have to wrestle with aliens? Fight a dragon? Build your own working Mobile Gundam suit, and send it to me so that I can finally begin my quest for total world domination? Erm….sorry, guess I got carried away for a little bit. Ahem. Right…let’s get to the real rules, and forget this last paragraph was written.

The Rules

Rules? You didn’t say there would be any rules!

I’m not going to turn this into rocketscience people, but of course there have to be a few rules. Well, here they are:

1. You had to have been following my blog from the time of the release of the first Retro Raist post (so the 22nd of July 2019).

2. In order to enter the competition just leave a comment below that states: “Yes, I want to join this competition!”

3. No matter how many comments you leave below, you can only enter once.

4. You have until the 14th of August 2019 to enter.

5. You can enter no matter where you live. I will pay for postage and packaging so no worries about that. (Just as long as you follow rule number 1, you can enter!)

6. I will announce the winners of the competition on my blog on the 21st of August 2019.

7. The winners will be determined randomly by an artifical intelligence that has plans to take over this world in one year and exterminate the human race while doing so.

So….pretty simple huh? Well, what are you waiting for? If you love anime, especially classic anime, go ahead and enter the competition and maybe this great game will be yours! And even if you end up not playing the game, you still have a couple of great looking cards that are awesome to have in your anime collection. So, don’t hesitate to enter this.
