Okay, people seriously this is getting to be too much. In a very good, but humbling way 😀 To my surprise and delight, I got nominated for yet another award this week: The One Lovely Blog Award. I am getting overwhelmed by all the positive feedback that is shown for my small blog. But I really appreciate it so much. A very big thank you goes out to Two Happy Cats for nominating me for this one. If you are one of the people who has still to discover this lovely blog (pun intended), you are in for a treat. 1. I have watched Titanic 9 times in the Cinema (Yes the ship hit the iceberg every single time)
2. I one day hope to make a cruise on a luxury cruise ship (and avoiding icebergs while doing that )
3. Although I still manage to mask it very well, I can be really insecure at times
4. I have way too many hobbies, and as such always have way too little time on my hands
5. One of my alltime favorite animation series is Robotech
6. I have the utmost respect for Asian culture
7. I am afraid of flying (That is in a plane, not that I have any flying superpowers)

LOL nice! I think I’ve only seen a movie at most 3x in a movie theater. I totally understand how you feel about feeling insecure. Do we ever grow out of things like that? Congrats on yet another award. I still have a few I need to write up on (including one u had nominated me for)…ugh no time to write lately! ! 🙂

Haha…trust me it was a once in a lifetime thing: I don’t think I will ever watch a movie that much in the theater ever again Lol. As for feeling insecure: naw, I don’t think I will ever grow out of it fully, but all we can do is improve:) Thank you very much for the kind words: always appreciate it! 😀 Ps: don’t worry, I know how you feel. This week I don’t have a lot of time to write things either. There arevsoare other things I have to do as well, but I will try and keep up with everyone’s blogs 😀

My record would be Pirates of the Caribbean which I saw 6 times in theaters. I did see Titanic 3 times though 🙂

Congratulations! You truly deserve it, Raistlin! Also, thank you for the nomination. I am humbled! First of all, I saw Titanic 3 times in theaters, Kate Winslet is my FAVORITE actress. As far as being insecure, everyone is to varying degrees. Blogging will likely help with this. Finally, I am also terrified of flying. In 2013, I flew to London, England from the States. It wasn’t that bad. My Dad told me that more people die in car accidents than plan crashes so, when looked at like that, it might help alleviate your fears somewhat.

Thank you very much for the kind words, they mean a lot. Kate Winslet is definitely a very good actress. Lately she does not appear in too many movies unfortunately. The last time I saw her was in Triple 9, where she played a very different role than usual. I agree, blogging definitely helps with feelings of insecurity (that and it really is something that has pretty much become a part of my life, something I never expected when I started this blog months ago 😀). Yes, that is what they keep telling me to, people die more in car accidents. So far it hasn’t helped me though 😂 Still, I have to get over it some day, as I really want to visit some Asian country one day (preferably China or Japan). And that would take a bit too long to reach by boat 😂

Ah Japan is on my list too. My trick when getting on a plane is to pop a sleeping pill beforehand haha. I still teared up during takeoff but it helped. Some people suggest drinking on the plane (though I don’t drink myself). Also, they usually have in flight movies that you can watch to distract yourself. What made you decide to start blogging?

Well, I am sure that there will come a time that I will let go of my fears and just do it (either that, or I ask if they can knock me out so I don’t notice anything of the flight 😂). It was a bit of an experiment really. I was a bit fed up with Facebook (where I used to post small reviews) and than I came across WordPress. One sunday I just decided to start it, just to see what it would be like. Little did I know that I would enjoy it this much…now 6 months later, I pretty much can’t imagine to ever let this go 😀

Haha, thank you very much for the kind words. Appreciate it very much! Insecurity will always be a problem, but over the years things definitely have improved. Hopefully that will be the case for you as well. As for the Icebergs, perhaps I will take my Mobile Suit Gundam with me, that should help 😂

You have watched the Titanic 9 times and it has to be on the big screens huh? 😂 I have seen Avatar 3 times and all at the theater. 😊 the big screen just makes the movie better somehow! Have you seen it?

Yeah, it was pretty crazy to have seen a movie 9 times in the theatre, but I don’t know: that movie just did something to me 😀 As for Avatar: oh yes, I have seen it twice in the theatre, both times in 3 D, which made it even better. Luckily James Cameron is finally working on the sequels, really looking forward to those 😀

Cool 😀 Yes it is true, brace yourself: James Cameron is working on four, yes you read that right, four sequels for Avatar. The first is scheduled to arrive in 2018, so we still have to wait for it for a while. Hopefully it will be worth the wait 😀

Thank you very much 😀 Haha…I watch a lot of movies, but there are definitely a few classics along the way that I have missed as well 😀 It is a very good movie though, definitely worth watching (although 9 times might be a bit excessive lol 😂)

And btw, Titanic is the most profound cinematic experience I’ve ever had. Great movie. I saw it 5 times in theaters ( I was only 7 years old ).

It really means a lot 😀 Yes, I have not seen Titanic now in over ten years, but it will always remain a movie unlike anything I have ever seen. I remember the first time I saw it, that the entire movie theatre remained in their seats until the end credits (abd it wasn’t a Marvel film lol). There were even people that started flap-img their hands, truly a thing I have never experienced again after that 😀 Thank you again !
